Two segments taken from the third and final clip of AX 267. Two observations:

1. How many matches has Isamar never allowed her opponent to remove her bottoms? They were gone less than 18 minutes into it with Kidde.
2. I remember I stopped doing clean breaks because I was so desperate for SOMEONE to beat Isamar and I felt these young girls might have a chance if they just kept going, never giving her a break. LOL.

Well you have a point Bruce, this girl is good enought o get Isamar's bottoms, when she fights very very hard not to get them removed!

I think its unfair for Isamar not to get clean breaks after a submission, because she's older than most of the new girls like this one! still I bet Isamar kicked her ass, but her opponent surprised me with her skills for her first match. Maybe she's the next Ariel X?

Great action, thanks. One thing about Isamar: she's rarely in trouble, but when she is she's vocal about it. Re: unclean breaks: jumping back on Isamar at 2:25 is one thing, but the end is far worse: putting her right back into the hold she just submitted to!

John which clip are oyu talkign about? the preview one on this thread? Maybe Im missing something,b ut the one that submitted was Kidde, even if Isamar was hurting as well...

This happened a lto during this fight! Kidde does need more endurance to holds. In some of them, she had Isamar as trapped as she was, but she always gave first. It was a battle of wills. She might have pulled a few more submissiones if she didn't give before Isamar!

You are correct Isamar made Kidde tap by bending her ankle backwards while Kidde was squeezing her in the double arm bar. Kidde jumped her again as soon as she could.

More importantly, you have struck the central message I wanted to get across regarding Kidde and comparing her to Ariel X. Kidde did great her first day. Great! Better than any rookie since Dia Zerva (maybe better than Dia, who lost to Madison Young if you recall).

But there is a huge gulf between a woman who has dedicated herself to a career in combat, and an athletic; bright; fun-loving young woman who had a great time fighting the most fun woman in the world to fight. Kidde might be the next Ariel; she might be the next Gia Franklin. It will be a long road before she becomes anything like Ariel; it will be a few weeks before we know if she's Gia Franklin.

Good excuse to watch again. At 3:10 of this clip, as Kidde's leg goes around Isamar's head, isn't it Isamar's voice saying "oh shit I give"?

I would think by now that Isamar's voice would be unmistakable!

Yes, JohnMoog that was Isamar tapping.

I think it may have been the way her hair was twisted in the scissors rather than the strength of the squeeze, but it might also have been right on her nose and she choose to submit quicky rather than risk damaging it,. Pretty good technique though, on Kidde's part, keeping her weight down as she pivoted her hips to Isamar's head. It takes some women multiple lessons before they master that one little thing and some never get it.
